Ahmad Sabirin has completed a bachelor of law at Trisakti Law School, Jakarta, focusing on climate, energy, and environmental law, and a master’s of public policy specializing in climate change at the International Islamic University of Indonesia. His research focuses on climate, energy, environmental law, SDGs, green economy, international economics, and competition law.
He is also a reviewer for national and international journals. He participates in several conferences regarding energy and climate change issues by full accommodation in his research at the National University of Singapore, Utrecht University, ASEAN Centre for Energy, Monash University, and Malaya University, as well as at a local university in Indonesia. He published 3 books and more than 30 journals both nationally and internationally.
He is also an editor in several journals, such as the Journal of Climate Law and Policy, the Amicus Curiae Journal, and the Trisakti Law Review at Trisakti Law School. He has also become an assistant lecturer at Trisakti Law School. He received the Academy Honour Roll for his Outstanding Participation and Contribution to the ASEAN Law and Policy Academy classroom from 29 July – 5 August 2024 at the National University of Singapore.
He is also the only one from Indonesia who received a scholarship from “the Social Innovation + Change Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School” to the Harvard Business School Online Course regarding “The Power and Influence for Positive Impact Course” 2025.
